what paint is good for models

with paints i would go with water based acrylic because it dries quick enough to continue painting

Acrylics adhere well to most metals and plastics making them good for most jobs
On well-handled models tho' it does wear off quicker than oil based paints.

you are right steel bat about acrilic wearing away but it is easy to use and repaint
